Fans of the Brazilian model got their sweet surprise when the sweethearts made a joint Instagram post yesterday announcing their engagement. Their geolocation tag was in Nihi, a luxury resort on Sumba Island, East Indonesia.
She debuted her captivating engagement ring on her Instagram post and stories. PEOPLE reports that it appears to be an elongated, rectangular diamond on a gold band.
InStyle recently checked in with Olivia Landau, the CEO of The Clear Cut, who estimated the elongated, bezel-set cushion-cut diamond at 7 carats. She also put the price range at $200,000 to $500,000.
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel, nicknamed ‘Ale’ by her supermodel friends, captioned the engagement announcement with “I’d choose you in this life and every life. Here’s to forever, my love. 💍✨.”
She also revealed on her Instagram stories that they’d gotten engaged 4 months prior, keeping it discreet from the press and her fans for privacy from April until late yesterday.
