Hilary Knight got on one knee and proposed to Brittany, in colorful jackets, sweatpants, and running shoes. Fans on IG commented on the proposal, congratulated them, and even loved the sweats they were wearing.
The couple is currently in Italy for the Winter Olympics. The proposal and Brittany Bowe’s engagement ring precede another important event in Hilary’s life. Knight and Team USA will square off against Canada for the gold tomorrow.
Hilary Knight is the Team Captain of the US Women’s National Hockey Team and also a decorated hockey Olympian, world champion, and national champion. She is also the forward and captain of the Seattle Torrent from the Professional Women’s Hockey League.
Hilary’s beau, Brittany Bowe, is a gold, silver, and bronze medalist and champion in the world inline speedskating championships.
“Olympics brought us together. This one made us forever,” Hilary said on Instagram.
The adorable pair met in the 2022 PyeongChang Games in Beijing. Both confirmed to the press that this year will also be their last for the Olympics, with Hilary having completed 5 Team USA Women’s Hockey games.
