Marketing expert and fashion connoisseur Brook Sansone’s engagement ring is lovely and features a 5-carat, teardrop-shaped solitaire diamond ring on a platinum band.
Charlie Puth flew to New York and proposed to the love of his life at their apartment at exactly 11:11 on September 5, 2023. Being proposed to by her favorite person in the world, at her favorite time, at one of her favorite places in the world. What could be a more perfect proposal?
He immortalized the moment on his Instagram, posting it with the caption, “I flew to New York to ask my best friend to marry me, and she said yes. I am the happiest, best version of myself, and it is all because of you Brookie. I love you endlessly forever and ever and ever.”
After she said yes, they shared their announcement to their fans and the press on Instagram, sharing a pizza and celebrating at their favorite pizza place, Brooklyn’s Lucali.

We got on a phone call with the Gemological Institute of America-certified jewelry specialist, Benjamin Khordipour G.D., from Estate Diamond Jewelry, to get a professional appraisal on this lovely ring. He reveals its estimated value at $250,000, along with other details.
The teardrop or reverse pear-shaped diamond is of high quality, with an E color classification and a VVS level of clarity. The construction and composition remain simple and elegant, using the cooling tones of platinum.
Getting to Know the Couple
Charlie Puth started off his singing and songwriting career by posting covers on his YouTube channel. The eleveneleven (note the reference!) label that Mike Hamlin and Ellen DeGeneres owned signed him, in 2011 (!).
The dude can credit his mom, Debra Puth, a music teacher, for introducing him to music. She introduced him to classical music and later he studied jazz at a young age. He also studied at Manhattan School of Music Pre-College for jazz piano major and a classical studies minor. In 2013, he graduated from Berklee College of Music.
He proved his singing and songwriting prowess when he released the hits “Marvin Gaye,” “See You Again,” and “One Call Away.” Charlie later signed with Atlantic Records and Artist Partner Group. He has 4 hit albums released.
The talented singer-songwriter worked with Wiz Khalifa, Selena, Jungkook, Justin Bieber, Kid Laroi, Meghan Trainor, Trey Songz, Jason Derulo, Lil Wayne, Tyga, Ty Dolla Sign, Brett Eldredge, G-Eazy, Boyz II Men, James Taylor, Ozzy, Blackbear, Jvke, Sasha Alex Sloan, Elton John, and many other hitmakers.
Brook Sansone is a digital marketing and public relations coordinator for a New York-based design consultancy, Butter and Eggs Interior. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
She also owns the Instagram page TheClosetNextDoor, which features fashion and styling content. To date, she has posted fashion and design content on her socials, featuring different personal style posts and glimpses of her personal life. She also owns a Shop My online fashion store and the Pontefirm talent agency.
Charlie and Brooke’s Love Story
Our lovely couple grew up together in New Jersey and were family friends. Their dads attended school together.
Eventually, their lifelong friendship culminated beyond their childhood friend status. The two started dating in June 2022. By December of that year, they went public with their relationship.
The couple’s red-carpet debut happened at the Clive Davis pre-Grammy Gala event.
Married Bliss
A year after their engagement, the couple married on September 7, 2024, at Puth’s family home in Montecito, California. Brooke loved the comfy but stylish backdrop of the house, explaining to Vogue, “We chose the Puth family residence because we just knew Montecito would offer the perfect backdrop. I wanted our wedding to marry tradition with modern unconventionality. I wanted each detail to feel relaxed yet perfectly, thoughtfully curated.”
The lush and beautiful garden, flowers, lovely mountain range, and the perfect sunny day made it even more special for the couple and their guests.
Brooke wore an amazing bridal gown as well, courtesy of top designer Danielle Frankel. “Creating the perfect wardrobe that showcased my personal style was my greatest styling challenge yet, and I couldn’t be more happy with how each look turned out,” she recalls.
She explained, “I’ve always been obsessed with weddings and was introduced to Danielle Frankel back in 2018, before she became a household name. I wanted a designer who brought a fashion-forward, unconventional edge to bridal wear, and Danielle was the perfect fit. ”
Her sleeveless, strapless wedding dress with a layered, custom-shaped skirt was a Frankel creation applied with her own style. Minimal flower motifs adorned its top edges and the lovely, wide lower-hipped skirt with a tapered lower shape and Court train. Charlie wore debonair Bode suits throughout the weekend.
The night before, they had a rehearsal dinner at the famed San Ysidro Ranch, famous for hosting JFK and Jackie Kennedy on their honeymoon.
They later chilled out for drinks at the couple’s home nearby, at their redesigned tennis court, near Charlie’s parents’ home. It has hedges to keep the area private and pleasing to the eye. Among the fun activities were a personalized embroiderer that stylized trucker hat giveaways, and sumptuous desserts.
