It’s been a stellar year so far for celebrity engagement rings of 2026, and the adorable proposals along with them. We’re just halfway through the year but already have so much to celebrate for upcoming weddings and gorgeous celebrity engagement rings!
Halle Berry and Van Hunt
The first major celebrity engagement announcement of the year had us head over heels! Halle and Van have been dating for 6 years when he finally, successfully proposed. Halle’s beautiful and unconventional “modern-day” Art Deco-style ring features a round-cut diamond at the center, framed with a square halo of sapphire stones. There are baguette-cut sapphire stones stacked on top of each other on each side, all bezel-set on a yellow gold band.
Jena Malone and Jack Buckley
On February 11, Jack Buckley proposed to Jena Malone during their scenic hiking vacation. She celebrated and commemorated this life moment in an Instagram post with her caption, “And with every lifetime, every moment I have in front of me, I said yes. @jacktbuckley I love you forever!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️”

Alfie Brown finally proposed to her long-time beau, Harry Potter star Jessie Cave this 2026! On April 12, she presented and celebrated it on Instagram with a caption saying, “12 years and 4 kids later …. It’s getting serious!!! 💍 💍 💍”
Jessie Cave’s engagement ring features marquise-shaped designs with 4 round cut diamonds in the center, and two smaller diamonds as accents on each side, all secured with prongs, on a rose gold band.
David Howard Thornton and Jada Christie
The star of horror slasher hit series Terrifier, David Howard Thornton, proposed to his girlfriend Jada Christie on April 18 in full character! He and his makeup and FX artist, Alana, and manager Bob planned the proposal at the Huntsville Comic & Pop Culture Expo. There, during a photoshoot session with convention attendees, David surprised her with a beautiful engagement ring. It’s originally from an heirloom ring given by his late mom to him as a gift. It features a cushion-cut diamond with baguette diamonds on each side, crafted in a platinum band.
Ramona Young and JJ Polwrek
Ramona Young and JJ Polwrek’s April 19 beachside sunset engagement went public on their Instagram accounts. She posted it with a caption, “We’re engaged! 💍🩵☀️”, complete with a gorgeous ring to boot! Ramona Young’s engagement ring features a solitaire, round-cut diamond secured with 4 prongs. Each shoulder has 2 small, baguette-cut diamonds, on a yellow gold band.
Harry Styles and Zoë Kravitz
One of the hottest celebrity engagement news stories this year was Harry and Zoë’s! It was a secret engagement and proposal away from the prying eyes and ears of the public, around late April 2026. The worldwide press hounded the couple. Despite them being super discreet, the paparazzi managed to snag photos and insider information! Zoë Kravitz’s engagement ring features an approximately 10-carat, elongated cushion-cut bezel-set diamond set in 18-karat yellow gold.
Josh Groban and Natalie McQueen
Josh Groban is already officially off the market when he proposed to his beau, Natalie McQueen, on May 14 in Disneyland no less! NBA star Grant Williams and softball star Kiki Milloy have been dating for 3 years, and Grant finally proposed to her on April 28. They were enjoying sunset by the beautiful Lake Huron at The Sunset Estate, Tacoma, Washington, when Grant got on his knee and proposed with the gorgeous engagement ring. Kiki Milloy’s engagement ring features an oval-cut diamond surrounded by a halo of smaller diamonds, set on a platinum band. Bellevue-based private jeweler Shelly Benes crafted the ring with Grant.
