One thing Euphoria fans cannot deny, despite the (spoiler alert!) chaotic wedding finale of Nate and Cassie, is how beautiful Cassie’s engagement ring is. This exceptional three-stone luxury piece only matches their intense love affair!
This marvelous stunner is an opulent symbol of their love. However, it’s also caught between whirlwind forces in an otherwise whirlwind romance that threatens to mess up the sweethearts’ lives, yet again!
Cassie’s Engagement Ring
Cassie’s engagement ring matches the intense and fiery relationship she has with Nate. It features a 3 to 7-carat, round-cut center diamond set on 4 double-claw prongs, with two pear-shaped diamonds at 1 carat each, vertically aligned and flanking it on each side, crowned on top of a gold band.
According to jewelry experts online, the ring’s value ranges from $80,000 if it has lab-grown diamonds to $200,000 if it has natural ones installed. The low-set ring also makes it easier to wear for daily use.
Despite his manipulative behavior, Nate pulled out all the stops to give Cassie an extravagant wedding ring to prove his passionate love for her.
“We should just pick the hottest, most confident, bad bitch version of ourselves, and be that for the rest of the school year.” Cassie once said to her best friend Maddy, during their more carefree and nonproblematic days. Sometimes, the seemingly perfect love can also be the most chaotic. Our beloved but flawed Cassie Jacobs (nee Howard) and her breakup with her ex, Chris McKay, didn’t end her troubles. She soon found solace in Nate Jacobs and became secret lovers behind her close friend and Nate’s beau, Maddy’s back.
Nate’s abusive relationship with Maddy was one of the main points of contention between Euphoria fans, and Nate’s manipulative and psychotic bent was a non-issue with Cassie when she first hooked up with him.
“Well, that makes me a villain, then so fuckin’ be it. I can play the fuckin’ villain,” exclaimed Cassie.
It sure sounds like the beginning of the end for Cassie, but in a delayed and staggered series of key moments!
The intoxicating and powerful force of love can lead us to selfish decisions. Which, not surprisingly, leads us to Nate and Cassie’s wedding, three episodes deep in Season 3 (“The Ballad of Paladin”).
This hot episode, a fast-forward to 5 years after, shows us the couple tying the knot and facing the consequences of their doomed love story.
No Honeymoons Until The Loan Sharks Get Paid
Even before we get to the wedding, tensions escalate. The soon-to-wed couple argues over flowers, and Cassie joins OnlyFans to get extra cash.
“I work all day, and my bride-to-be is spread-eagled on the internet,” Nate observes disapprovingly and disappointingly. He just caught Cassie creating content videos wearing dog ears, makeup, and a sexy, black corset. “I was just making content,” Cassie defended.
Nate soon faces troubles of his own. He desperately tries to get investors to pay for loans that have soon caught up with him.
However, after their lovely wedding, the loan sharks soon catch them off guard by showing up at their home and waiting for them. They mess up the bride and groom, bloodying both their faces, blood running on their wedding attire.
Without warning, Nassim, one of the pissed-off loan sharks, decides to take the violence further for Nate’s long-standing debts. “Unfortunately, the honeymoon is over,” as he chops off Nate’s toe in front of a horrified Cassie.
