Kyoto Notes:

Remoteness: Kyoto is fairly remote with no direct flights. Honeymooners arrive at Kansai International Airport in Osaka before boarding the JR Kansai-Airport Express HARUKA direct to Kyoto Station.

However, Orkney, overall, is well balanced all year round and offers different settings to enjoy, even in the winter periods (6-hour daylight in the Winter Solstice).

Remoteness: Harbor Island is remote, and there are no direct flights. Direct domestic and international flights first go to North Eleuthera Airport, followed by a cab to the Three Island Dock, and then a ferry ride or water taxi going to the island.
