Kiki Malloy’s engagement ring features a massive, stunning oval-cut diamond surrounded by a halo of smaller diamonds, set on a platinum band. Top jewelry designer Shelly Benes designed her ring, which she featured on her Instagram, and which Kiki also tagged.
Grant got on one knee and proposed to the love of his life. They’ve been together for three years.
The lovely early evening backdrop set the romantic mood as Grant proposed during sunset, overlooking the beautiful Lake Huron at The Sunset Estate, Tacoma, Washington’s premier vacation spot.
The Adorable Couple of Basketball and Softball
Grant Dean Williams, born on November 30, 1998, in Houston, Texas, has been a Charlotte Hornets power forward since 2024.
He played with the Boston Celtics from 2019 to 2023 and helped them reach the NBA Finals. He next played for the Dallas Mavericks from 2023 to 2024.
Grant shone on the court as an All-Southeastern Conference freshman, sophomore, and junior player for the Tennessee Volunteers. He was the SEC Player of the Year, back-to-back for 2 seasons, 2018 to 2019 and 2018 to 2019.
Aside from playing forward, he is a sports card collector. Topps reached out to him on Instagram, commenting on his proposal pics, saying, “Can we put this on a card? Congrats!!!” The power forward answered with an “Of course!” We might see that limited edition soon!

Getting to Know Kiki Milloy
Kiki Milloy played a stellar five-season career from 2019 to 2024 with the Lady Vols softball in the outfield position. She played in the 2023 World Cup Stage Event. In 2022, she was in the Japan All-Star Series and the Canada Cup Championship.
She was also the top national home runner in 2023 and one of the 2025 NCAA Today’s Top 10 awardees.
Not only is Kiki one of the top national softball players, but she also graduated magna cum laude with a degree in neuroscience and then earned her MBA.
On her feature page on the NCAA website, she offers insight into her illustrious career, saying, “The thing that makes me the proudest about my collegiate career is probably just the transformation in the woman that I’ve become. Softball’s great, and that’s what has opened a lot of doors for me, but more than that is the relationships I’ve created and the person that I’ve become. I kind of came in as just someone who put their head down and just worked and didn’t really think about the relationship piece of the game.”
She went on to share insights on the leadership roles she’s had: “But when you’re put into a leadership position, you kind of have to make sure that you connect with your teammates or know how to connect or have those people surrounding you that you can tell that when you’re being vulnerable, because leadership is not just about doing it yourself. So I think that’s the biggest thing that I learned is just being able to build those relationships with people so that you can rise up to one goal.”
