Justin and Hailey Bieber got married twice, one in a courthouse and the other at a religious ceremony. But they pulled all the stops for their more elaborate second wedding at a chapel on September 30, 2019. One of the main highlights was Hailey Bieber’s wedding dress, and it’s a hot and gorgeous piece.

Hailey Bieber’s Wedding Dress
Hailey Bieber’s wedding dress boasts a Virgil Abloh design. The late designer, who owned the Italian luxury brand Off-White, created and designed his first bridal gown, a collaboration with Hailey’s input.
“I didn’t want somebody who was a wedding dress designer. I just feel like my style and my street style is such a part of who I am. Virgil has kind of always just been in my corner since the beginning,” Hailey explained to Vogue.
The marvelous dress has an off-the-shoulder neckline, long lace sleeves, a mermaid silhouette, and a glorious sweep train. Abloh included his brand logo and the phrase ‘Wedding Dress’ on it. The immortal words of “Till Death Do Us Part” emblazon the Monarch chiffon train. The total cost for the dress was $60,000.
She commissioned three designer dresses with input from her stylist, Maeve Reilly, throughout the wedding: one for the altar, one for the reception by Rich & Russo, and the after-party by Vera Wang.
“The gratifying side about designing for Hailey, in this case, is I know her personality. For her, I wanted something fun and youthful just the same, but still traditional,” Abloh remarked about his work on Vogue.
Virgil Abloh was an architect and finished his degree at the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2006. Apart from architectural design, he also loved fashion design. He later met rapper Kanye West while interning for an Italian luxury brand, Fendi, and ended up working with him on a number of projects. Later, he founded Off-White, his luxury streetwear brand, and worked for Louis Vuitton.
Hailey and Justin’s Love Story, Part 1
Hailey first met Justin backstage in November 2009 at a meet and greet hosted by the Today show. Her dad, actor Stephen Baldwin, introduced them with some help from Justin’s mom, Pattie Mallett. They met again at Justin’s Never Say Never documentary premiere on February 2, 2011.
At this point, the future couple were just acquaintances. Hailey was even a fan of Justin and Selena Gomez’s love team, commenting on their relationship online and showing support for them throughout 2011.
It won’t be until 3 years later that the couple will see each other again. Along with their friend Kendall Jenner, Justin and Hailey attended Hillsong Church in New York on November 10, 2014.
“One day, Justin walked into Hillsong and was like, ‘Hey, you got older.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, what’s up?’ Over time, he became my best guy friend. I was running around with him as his homie, but we weren’t hanging out [romantically],” Hailey told Vogue. Within weeks, rumors started flying around that they were dating. They insisted that they were “just friends”.
During this time, Justin’s relationship with Selena Gomez was on the rocks; the couple had just split up.
“I’ve known him since I was so young — since I was like 13 — and we’ve just been good friends over the years. We have just stayed close, and there’s nothing more to it than that,” Hailey clarified to E! News.
However, their actions seem to oppose their statements, as the couple spent New Year’s Eve that year. They were also seen together with their families on a vacation to Mexico a year later on December 2015, and even had a well-publicized kiss and a second New Year’s Eve together.

Justin and Selena were an on-and-off couple for the next 4 years. Selena dated DJ Zedd in 2015 and The Weeknd in 2017 in between those years, before they split up.
He also had a brief fling with Sofia Richie in 2016. This created tensions between him, Selena, and their fans who want them to get back together again.
In a March 2016 interview with GQ Magazine, Justin confirmed that he loved Hailey and they were very close, but he didn’t want to complicate things. Things started to get awkward after this, and he and Hailey “split up” after some personal issues.
Selena wasn’t too keen on Justin and rekindling their relationship, however. She said in a 2016 Rolling Stone interview, “Honestly, what I would love to be printed is that I am so beyond done with talking about that, and him.” Selena still attended his March 23, 2016 concert in L.A.
However, after Selena split with The Weeknd in 2017, she started seeing Justin again.
Selena and Justin celebrated Valentine’s Day in 2018 together. She also posted about his 24th birthday on March 1 on Instagram. But then again, they split up for the last time a few days later, citing a “break.”

Justin reflected on his relationship with Hailey in that same GQ interview from March 2016, before their split, saying, “I know that in the past I’ve hurt people and said things that I didn’t mean to make them happy in the moment. So now I’m just more so looking at the future, making sure I’m not damaging them. It’s really hard to fix wounds like that. It’s so hard … I just don’t want to hurt her.”
A church conference in Miami brought the couple back together when they officially started seeing each other again on June 10, 2018. They went to LIV Nightclub to hang out later that night,
Almost a month later, the couple got engaged when Justin proposed to Hailey at a local restaurant in the Bahamas on vacation. Her ring featured a 10-carat solitaire oval cut diamond, crowned on an 18k yellow gold band, a custom creation by Jack Solow of the Solow Jewelry company.
That September, Justin married Hailey at a New York City courthouse before getting married at a religious ceremony at the Montage Palmetto Bluff resort in South Carolina. 154 guests and family members attended, including Kendall and Kris Jenner, Usher, Jaden Smith, and many others.
