High-neck or closed-neck dresses provide a classy way for wedding dresses to be a little more formal and discreet. No decolletage and chest area visible, no over-the-shoulder tops, low V-necklines, or plunging necklines here, just pure, covered-up elegance and style.
Lace plays an important part in creating some of these closed, high-neck wedding dresses. They bypass sweetheart necklines and other open-styled tops, bodices, and corsets with their illusion lace layers.
Our fashion reporter, Rallye Ibanez, a Fine Arts graduate and wedding style expert, brings you this curated top 15 high-neck wedding dress collection. Enjoy.
1. High Neck Organza Long Sleeves Wedding Dress

This Marelli Exclusive wedding does feature a sweetheart neckline and low back. But it’s a marvelous,closed-neck, organza and tulle wedding dress with its beautiful illusion tulle mockneck high collar, long sleeves with tapered ends.
Further down, the glorious flowing skirt captivates everyone with its graceful flare and wide sweep train. I recommend this to sweetheart neckline and sleeveless dress fans who want to get away with those styles with the help of illusion overlay fabric.
2. High Neck Princess Bridal Gown

Grand wedding gowns in white with closed dress features, such as this offering from Obroi, look spectacular. It also gets away with its sweetheart neckline and low back by using a graceful illusion lace overlay with a closed neckline and long sleeves.
The dress looks amazing with its layers, adorned with lovely bridal motifs from the bodice to the waistline. The Watteau train adds another layer of motifs that span the long flowing skirt and Cathedral train. This is one of my top picks for this collection and a classic closed high-neck wedding dress.
3. Vintage Lace Long Sleeves A Line High Neck Wedding Dresses

Vintage-style wedding dresses feature closed, high-neck tops with long lace sleeves. Fidget Finds has those features and more in this old school wedding dress. Beautiful bridal lace adorns its neckline, decolletage, bodice, and the hemline of the skirt, keeping them covered in style. The embroidered illusion lace lets the underlying sweetheart necklines and low backlines exist with an intricate overlay, extending down its glorious, wide sweep train.
7. Elegant Mermaid Long Sleeve High Neck Wedding Dress

Sleek, seductive, and streamlined, this minimalist all-white and all-closed-up wedding dress by Camilla Brides looks breathtaking. It shows that you can exude seductive vibes even with a closed high-neck wedding dress and long sleeves.
The dress achieves this with form-fitting curves and a mermaid dress silhouette, ending the long flow with a nice sweep train. Bridal lace provides nice accents and motifs on both shoulders and the back. Another personal pick and a highly recommended minimal dress that has understated sexiness and elegance all over.
8. Elegant Classic Sparkled Mock Neck Beaded Wedding Gown

Illusion lace is magic and creates incredible textures and motifs in wedding dresses. This Misteria gown from A&M Enterprises features a buired sweetheart neckline and backless side overlayed with beautiful beaded lace and extended branches as motifs. It’s a lovely way to accent the bodice, before giving way to a flowing, layered, A-Line skirt and sweep train. I love this dress for its clever way of incorporating lace overlays while keeping the sexy highlight of the bodice.
9. Bespoke Wedding Dress High Neck Wedding Gowns

Simplicity and elegance go hand in hand in this beautiful high-neck, long-sleeved wedding dress from Camilla’s Bridal. In this case, its abstract patterns on white silk create unique bridal textures with beaded lace all over the bodice. Plenty of love for this dress for being lovely even without the usual sexy features in other wedding dresses. The long, pleated A-Line skirt and sweep train complete this elegant wedding dress.
10. Elegant Chiffon Floor Length High Neck Unique Wedding Dress

As we’ve seen so far in this collection, nonconventional bridal lace motifs look great on wedding dresses. Castle Couture uses it to great effect on this dress, creating diagonal dotted lines and meshed patterns on its illusion lace. They adorn the bodice and lovely 3/4th sleeves, paired with a button-up back, and extra layers of chiffon lines and blocks. It ends with a charming A-line skirt and sweep train.
11. High Neck Wedding Dress With Chapel Train

This astounding dress from Zorket commands attention with its grand features and organza and tulle composition. Right off the bat, the Cathedral train dominates the aisle and takes your breath away with its sprawling spread adorned with beautiful beaded lace motifs.
Its Illusion lace high-neckline collar overlays the sweetheart neckline and long lace sleeves, with a low backless side. It’s one of my favorite dresses in this curated list for its dramatic, stylish make and gorgeous look.
12. High Neck Wedding Dress Puffy Long Sleeves

Luxury wedding dresses also come in high-neck and covered-up designs in line with our theme, like this creation by Canan. The combination of bishop long sleeves and a high-neck enclosure works to frame the bride’s top.
Beautiful beaded lace decorates the bodice, cresting at the beltline, with a cute bow tie ribbon at the back for the perfect accent. Its long flowing skirt and Cathedral train create quite a spectacle, completing its head-to-hemline awesomeness.
13. High Neck Long Sleeved Lace Wedding Dress

This Elena Morar high-neck wedding gown creation features a sexy underlying surface layered with illusion lace. Within the illusory confines of its lace body frame are the sweetheart neckline silhouette and a backless design.
The dress top and its semi-transparency, plus flesh and lace visuals, stand in contrast to the all-white A-Line skirt. I love how the bridal lace motifs create gorgeous design patterns when paired with more skin, emphasising small appliqué details.
14. High Neck Short Sleeve Wedding Dress

Short sleeves and closed high-neck tops also work beautifully in a Boho-influenced wedding dress by Lace and Love Brides. It’s simple and charming, with lace adornments all throughout, plus an open backless design and a stash belt. These features go well with the flow of the dress, with a creased skirt and just the right amount of floor-length hemline.
However, those who may be looking for a train may be left hanging, so to speak, as many Boho-style skirts don’t have one. Still, non-train dresses remain fashionable and unique.
27. Sparkling Fully Beaded Mermaid Wedding Gown With High Neck

Our last piece in this collection is by Lily Mac Bridal, and it combines different elements of the wedding dress with luxurious designs. Its mermaid silhouette guarantees curvaceous appeal in the right places, making it extra sexy. Bejeweled and beaded lace adorns the whole dress from its closed high-neck down to its hemline and sweep train. The illusion lace overlays the neckline and backless design beneath, creating a uniform luxury texture that sparkles.

Amazing collection, and a good read too! Keep it up TWS!
