On June 29, 2024, while having lunch at an Italian restaurant, Josh proposed to Brianna, while a band serenaded them with Elvis’ “Can’t Help Falling in Love”. Brianna and Josh have been dating for 2 years, and Josh knew it was time to pop the question. And what an adorable ring it was.
Brianna’s ring features a large, 3-carat, solitaire round-cut diamond, with a five-prong setting on a platinum band. The ring is awesome to behold, as she expressed her feelings of their special proposal day, “Almost 2 years ago this fall, and with no expectations, Josh walked into my life… and we knew almost immediately we had each found our person in a way we’ve never experienced- on every level. Josh posted the special moment when Brianna accepted his proposal and said yes on Instagram. “For the last 2 years in Every Way and Every Day, this beautiful soul has made me and my life better, deeper, and more whole. I am so grateful and thrilled she said ‘Yes’.”

The round, brilliant-cut solitaire diamond is between 2.5 and 3 carats. It has a D-F color grade. The clarity level is also high, ranging from VVS1 to VVS2. There is simple elegance in this ring with precise, clean craftsmanship. However, the name of the designer was never disclosed in public.

Our hot meteorologist, Brianna Ruffalo, AKA Mrs. Lucas, is a reporter with ABC7 in Los Angeles. Her hometown and state are in the Santa Clarita Valley, Southern California. There, he met Brianna at a restaurant during filming, which led to 2 years of dating before he proposed in Italy. Josh Lucas married Brianna Ruffalo at the Vatican Church in Vatican City on July 18, 2025. Josh looked super dapper in a black tie and suit. Brianna wore a beautiful, sexy, sleeveless lace gown and veil.
