Gabriette’s engagement ring matches her cutting-edge fashion sense and alt-goth styles. It features a super rare, 5-carat cushion-cut black diamond, surrounded by a halo of round-cut diamonds and a pavé three-split-shank 18k white gold band. And yes, it is stunning.
The engagement also comes with Matty’s mom’s high approval.
On her interview with the TV show Loose Women, Matty’s mom, Denise Welch, has praises, saying “I couldn’t be more thrilled, she’s absolutely gorgeous.… We couldn’t be happier. She is everything that I would want in a daughter-in-law.”
She also confirmed that his son commissioned it for the lovely bride.
However, some fans pointed out that it looked like one of the rings featured on the popular website 1stDibs.com. The design and composition were very similar, with the same 5-carat black diamond and three-split-pave shank 18k white gold band.

Although black diamonds are not as expensive as regular diamonds, they are rare. This high-quality 5-carat black diamond can fetch a greater price for its scarcity. It is also possible that the center black diamond may be more than 5 carats.
It’s bespoke work and construction in 18k white gold is another factor for the hefty price tag. It creates a larger profile on the wearer’s finger, with an already sizable center diamond.
Getting to Know Gabbriette Bechtel
Hot model Gabbriette Bechtel was already fashionable and different from her peers since her younger years. It gave her some alienation, but she soon realized she was her own style, and it carried over to her first jobs in the entertainment and modeling industry.
