South African DJ, influencer, and style maven Sithelo Shozi’s engagement ring from Tiffany & Co. features an oval-cut solitaire diamond in a north-south setting, crowned on top of a golden band.
The popular DJ and fashionista was in Italy with her boyfriend on a birthday vacation. The press quickly suspected something else was waiting behind their special trip. James proposed in secret, and now the entertainment world has finally confirmed the hunches.
She and her beau were cruising Lake Como in Italy during the proposal.
Sithelo was in a ruffled white and light-and-navy-blue floral dress, looking super lovely. James was dapper in his jagged violet, purple, and white striped shirt and white pants. Their future looked super bright; he wore shades, holding a glass of champagne.

Sithelo’s ring is an exclusive Tiffany & Co. luxury piece. It features a 5-carat, oval-cut solitaire diamond, with a D color classification and VS1 level of clarity. It’s set on top of an 18k yellow gold band.
It’s an exceptional quality diamond ring, which Khordipour placed at a value of $300,000.

South African DJ and fashion influencer Sithelo Shozi, born on April 17, 1994, broke through the international music scene with her first hit, “Forever” in 2019. It’s a hot collaboration with fellow musician Mondli Ngcobo and singer-songwriter Skyewanda.
Sithelo’s studies led to a degree in art with a focus on music and music production. This helped launch her career.
Her arts background also showed in her content creation on her socials, more specifically on Instagram, where she amassed over 1 million followers, and counting.
Her fashion style, art direction, and lifestyle posts have made her a hot fashion and lifestyle influencer, leading to worldwide collaborations with top brands such as Adidas, Johnnie Walker, Samsung, Savanna Cider, and Huawei. She also launched her own luxury apparel brand, Baby M.
Speaking with News24.com, she explained the meaning of her unique and beautiful name: “People often think ‘Sithelo’ is my stage name, but it isn’t. My mom, a priest, named me after the Fruits of the Holy Spirit, which are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.”
She further explained, “Instead of picking just one, she chose the collective and named me Sithelo. My mom gives the best names; she named all my children, too, each with a unique name with weighty meanings behind them.”
Getting to Know Sithelo’s Hubby
Kudzaishe James Maguram, also nicknamed “Jamescai”, is a Zimbabwean businessman working in the liquor industry. He was also the former director of the Siyabulela Trading Enterprise.
The dashing entrepreneur had been previously linked to other South African influencers, such as Faith Nketsi and Mihlali Ndamase.
While not confirmed, the media took notice and sparked more curiosity when he and Sithelo started making public appearances together. Entertainment news channels first saw their romantic connection in 2018, before Sithelo was with her previous beau, Andile Mpisane.
Media channels reported that the two sweethearts got back together in 2024, culminating in the well-publicized engagement.
