Jamie and Sophie Got Married in London
Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo tied the knot on April 14, 2023, at a registry office in Chelsea. The couple, who star in Made in Chelsea, had a legal ceremony for friends and family before having a big celebration in London the following month. Sophie wore a bridal mini dress by Vivienne Westwood with a two-layer veil by Gigi & Olive and Saeda 100 ivory bridal heels with an embellished ankle strap by Jimmy Choo. She paired the wedding outfit with sunglasses and a “Wifey for Lifey” bridal clutch with a chain strap and sparkle clasp by Sophia Webster. Jamie wore a double-breasted black wedding suit and tie with sunglasses.
Jamie and Sophie Got Married in Marbella
Following their London wedding in April, the couple tied the knot again in Marbella. Sophie wore two wedding dresses on her big day. First a long sleeve lace dress with a gorgeous veil and ivory satin court shoes for the ceremony. She changed for the reception and wore a slinky satin dress. She went with a natural look for her makeup, with glowing skin, and pink lips. The bridesmaids wore ivory dresses in different shapes and styles. While Jamie and Sophie’s wedding in London was an intimate affair, everyone turned up to this one. The guest list included Made in Chelsea castmates, showbiz names, and more. The Couple’s Relationship Timeline
April 2019
Jamie and Sophie had a close friendship on Series 17 of Made in Chelsea. This closeness sparked rumors among co-stars and tabloids. Jamie had just split from ex-girlfriend Heloise Agostinelli and the stories caused friction between Jamie and his friend Sam Thompson, who was also Sophie’s ex-boyfriend. Sophie and Jamie had a conversation and decided that they would remain friends.

They went on their first date after realizing that everyone was already upset about their non-romance. They decided to see where things could go.
September 2019
The couple seemed to be going strong just as an opportunity appeared for Jamie. Jamie said on his podcast, “I will still be seeing Habboo, I’m not going to start kissing my dance partner.” He suffered a foot injury during his first dance and later had to drop out of the show.
October 2020
Jamie returned to Strictly Come Dancing and made it to the semi-finals. He also left Made in Chelsea, while Sophie stayed on as a cast member. Jamie and Sophie are still going strong.
December 2021
After much speculation, Jamie and Sophie announce their engagement. Sophie posted on Instagram saying: “Mrs. Laing to be. I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you.” She also shared a photo of the couple. She later added photos of the hotel room where Jamie proposed with a bottle of champagne and four bunches of white roses. Jamie took to Instagram to share his happiness by saying, “I couldn’t think of anything better than spending the rest of my life with you.”

The Engagement Ring
Sophie’s engagement ring is a gorgeous emerald cut diamond set in a four-prong setting. The gallery of the ring is unique. It is set with small round diamonds, which give it an extra layer of sparkle. The ring is estimated to be between 3 and 4 carats. With the added bling of the gallery, it’s a one-of-a-kind piece. The designer of the ring has yet to be disclosed in public, but Jamie has said that he was “closely involved in the design process and that he worked with a jeweler to create a custom ring that was perfect for Sophie.” The Wedding Scoop jewelry experts estimated it to be worth about $50,000.
The Wedding Ring
There isn’t a lot of information about the wedding ring itself. After tying the knot, Sophie was spotted arriving at The Bentley Hotel in West London wearing her two wedding rings on either side of her engagement ring. It’s estimated that the rings are 18 carat yellow gold. Jamie revealed on the couple’s podcast that the day before their wedding day he went to pick up their rings he was given his band and was told that he hadn’t arranged for Sophie to get one.
