English TV hosts and sweethearts Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo tied the knot twice in 2023! Still, fans and the press can’t stop thinking about Sophie Habboo’s engagement ring and wedding bands, two centerpieces of their love story and marriage.
We got on an EXCLUSIVE phone call with Benjamin Khordipour, G.D., the GIA-certified gemologist, author, lecturer, and jewelry specialist of Estate Diamond Jewelry, to get professional appraisals on these rings. Click here to see what he said.
Sophie Habboo’s Engagement and Wedding Rings: Rings Of Love and Devotion

The well-known Candy Kittens vegan sweets owner, Jamie, proposed to Sophie on December 18, 2021. Sophie said yes to his proposal of love and devotion, and of course, that dazzling ring.
Her ring features a 4-carat oval-cut diamond secured in a four-prong setting, standing north-south and crowned on a pavé platinum band. Jamie collaborated with top jewelry designer Neil Duttson to craft this beauteous creation.
The well-loved podcaster, TV, and radio host further customized her ring and finger area with 2 diamond-studded wedding bands, forming a wedding and engagement ring stack style.
These 18-carat yellow gold bands designed by Delaval Knight come engraved with their wedding date.

This ring stack is already a formidable combination of opulence and beauty. But Jamie outdid himself when he gifted his beau with a custom-crafted wedding ring for their second wedding in Spain.
Also from Delaval Knight, the second (wedding) wedding ring features an oval Ruby stone with four old-cut diamonds on each side. These are from old family heirloom gemstone rings.
Delaval created a modern, upgraded, and refined version of the originals for the current era while retaining its old but timeless styles. They presented the process on TikTok and captioned it in commemoration, “It was a dream to have collaborated on this very special wedding present using beautiful family stones”
What Are the Rings Worth?

Our phone call with Benjamin Khordipour, G.D., the jewelry specialist of NYC’s Estate Diamond Jewelry, who holds advanced degrees from the Gemological Institute of America and Gübelin, gave us his professional assessments on these rings.
For the engagement ring, he placed the value at $53,000. The lovely diamond ring crafted with help from Neil Dutson carries a significant price tag for its high-quality diamond with expert creation and design.
The Delaval Knight-designed wedding bands have an estimated price of $3200 each. This further depends on the grade of its small diamonds and total carats.
Her second wedding ring, custom-recrafted by the one and only Delaval Knight, is mostly a priceless and super valuable bespoke ring. The heirloom gems have immeasurable value, and the final redesign boosts the value and price tag even more,
Jamie and Sophie: Married Twice!
Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo married legally on April 14, 2023, in Chelsea, London.
Their first wedding was a legal ceremony for a small group of friends and family. Sophie nevertheless dazzled in a bridal dress from Vivienne Westwood, a special short veil by Gigi & Olive, and heel shoes by Jimmy Choo. Jamie was handsome in his black wedding suit and tie with sunglasses.
After their London wedding, Sophie started wearing her 3-ring wedding stack.
To properly celebrate their wedding, they organized a bigger wedding party that had all the celebratory activities with their family and friends in the Villa Las Sirenas palace complex in Seville, Spain, on May 20, 2023.
The ultra-romantic, enthralling, and beautiful Spanish and Mediterranean panoramic views created the magical atmosphere of their real wedding celebrations.
She wore a different wedding dress for this special wedding ceremony as well. She wore an Emma Beaumont original.
It had traditional lace meshed beautifully with her sweetheart neckline top, long sleeves, a backless design, and a sexy bodyfit and trumpet skirt silhouette. She paired it with a long Watteau veil that joined her Cathedral train.
The Couple’s Relationship Timeline
Jamie and Sophie met on the set of the reality TV luxury lifestyle show Made in Chelsea in 2017. The couple was friends first over that 2 year gap that saw them become closer than friends. They started dating in April 2019.
Speaking with Fabric Magazine, she gave in to requests for her to appear on the E4 TV reality program. It was destiny of sorts, as she got her first break and met the man she would marry.
“I came to London after I graduated, and I was still getting asked. Initially, I was interning at Annabel’s, the private members’ club. I was a PA, but it was an internship, and it wasn’t going to be forever, and I just thought, maybe I should go to the interview. So, then I went for the interview, and then I was like, oh, you know, maybe I should just try it…”
Jamie soon fell hard for her, and the feeling was mutual. Heartbroken, having broken up with their exes recently, the duo was certain of what they felt for each other.
From Nearlyweds to Newlyweds!
Speaking on the podcast The Moments That Made Me, Jamie explained, “I always thought I was going to be this guy who just settled, that I would be in a relationship, I would settle, I would maybe end up cheating at some point. I just thought that was life.
He added, “But then I found someone who I couldn’t be more compatible with, couldn’t love more, couldn’t respect more and realised, this is actually what life is about.”
Jamie knew Sophie was the one. After hanging out with her, and sharing moments together, he couldn’t fight his feelings anymore.
The cast then went on a trip to Croatia, which made them even closer, and where Jamie knew she was his one and only.
The newlyweds created their own new podcast series called Nearlyweds after they got engaged. The podcast soon became Newlyweds after the couple tied the knot.
