The Scoop on Taylor Hill’s Engagement Ring
On June 25, 2021, Daniel Fryer popped the question to the love of his life, Taylor Hill, with a beautiful Italian seaside as their backdrop. He got on one knee and promised forever to his beau.
Daniel swept her away and got her immediate yes.
“My best friend, my soulmate, I’ll love you always 💗✨ 06/25/21 ✨💗,” captioned Taylor on her Instagram post celebrating the ultra romantic moment.
This beautiful 3-stone ring features a 5-carat emerald cut rectangular diamond sporting a north-south placement. Two triangular side diamonds flank it on each side, all set on top of a yellow gold band.

How Much is Taylor Hill’s Engagement Ring?
Our phone conversation with Estate Diamond Jewelry’s specialist and Gemological Institute of America-certified expert Benjamin Khordipour G.D. revealed specs and professional insight on the lovely ring.
He placed the value of the ring at $300,000. Factors that dictate the price, according to Benjamin. This includes the high-quality diamonds, the Art Deco design, and the composition of the bezel-set triangle side stones. It works well against an elongated, rectangular emerald cut diamond center, standing with a north-south setting, plus an elegant 18k yellow gold band.
Taylor Hill and Daniel Fryer’s Love Story
Our bride, Taylor Hill, is a top model and former Victoria’s Secret Angel from 2014 to 2018. She grew up on their family’s ranch in Colorado, where talent agent Jim Jordan discovered her at the age of 14.
By the time she was 18, she joined as the youngest model on Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She walked for top brands such as Versace, Valentino, Chanel, Armani, Moschino, and many others.
Among the brands she worked for were Intimissimi, Forever 21, H&M, and Lancôme. She also made editorial appearances for Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, the French, Dutch, and Australian Elle.
Her hubby, British-American Daniel Fryer, is one of the leaders of Cannatlantic, an advisory and strategy firm in London that works with the global cannabis industry. Daniel has been a venture capital and private equity investor since 2011.
Daniel is also an almnus of two prestigious financial schools renowned around the globe: Eton College in the UK and the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
Their Romantic Journey Together
Taylor and Daniel’s journey from dating to newlyweds started from the moment they met at the Aspen Jazzfest in 2019. That year, crooner and guitarist extraordinaire John Mayer was the headliner.
The future sweethearts’ love for music was one of the things in common that made it possible for them to meet. Mutual friends in their groups introduced them.
Taylor was in a previous 5-year relationship with actor and talent agent Michael Stephen Shank. While Taylor and Daniel had instant chemistry, it took a while before their love fell into place.
Whether it was their being private or the press catching up late, the public only started noticing around February 2020.
The Just Jared website first showed their first public outing together in 2021. They were on a leisurely stroll around LA with her dog, in relaxed, casual outfits.
The couple preferred to keep their love life minimal to the press and paparazzi, only posting themselves when they felt like it. This kept their private lives away from gossip or issues.
Fast forward to over a year of dating bliss and peace away from press issues, and the couple announced their engagement in June 2021. The couple was on a holiday in Italy when Daniel proposed at the very scenic view of Il San Pietro di Positano Hotel along the famed Amalfi Coast.
Taylor’s fans gushed over the engagement photos of the sweet couple. The happiness was contagious, the celebration global. Their Victoria’s Secret model is soon going to be Mrs. Fryer!
Glamorous Western-Inspired Wedding Bliss
Taylor and Daniel tied the knot on June 10, 2023, at The Devil’s Thumb Ranch in Denver, Colorado. Their adorable Western Country theme was perfect for the venue, Broad Axe Barn. It was the perfect combination of classic cowboy chic and charming, stylish elegance.
Violet, baby blue, and white flowers with green accent leaves surrounded their wedding arch. Meanwhile, the aisles had purple, baby blue, and white flowers decorating their path to the altar.
Taylor wore an Etro bridal gown created by Marco de Vincenzo, and the first wedding dress by the famed Italian brand. It features an off-the-shoulder top with lovely ruffled edges. Its pleated bodice and sash belt gave way to a tiered skirt with beading designs and a Chapel train, joined by its wide veil with frill-edged motifs.
She also wore a custom House of Flora lace dress, with lace straps, an embroidered bodice, and a floor-length skirt with an intricate middle section filled with embroidered lace motifs. She wore Messika jewellery and those lovely Etro cowboy boots.
For the reception, she changed into a textured semi-sheer mini dress, with a long veil that had Mrs. Fryer embroidered on its lower edges.
Daniel wore a classic European-styled suit with a white bow tie. He also dressed up in a classic cowboy outfit and hat for the pre-wedding, and yes, he wore the lovely boots too.
