Organizing such a stellar event as the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Wedding required top-notch logistics and privacy, privacy, privacy! And the lovely newlyweds picked the right man for the job.
The couple hired top LA-based wedding planner Mark Seed, of Mark Seed Inc. The wedding planner extraordinaire is well-known for his very secretive but meticulous wedding planning capabilities.
He previously worked on the top-secret, high-profile weddings of Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone, Billie Lourd, Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley. Taylor attended Jack’s wedding and learned about Mark’s reputation in the industry.
Taylor spoke on the Graham Norton show in October last year about how she planned her guest list. She explained further, “I’m so excited about it. I know it’s going to be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount, and people are on the bubble. And you have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them to see if they should be there. I’m not gonna do that.”

The biggest confirmation of the wedding was from the New York state local government. They confirmed granting permits for an undisclosed huge event on the 4th of July weekend in Manhattan’s Madison Square Garden. It covered Thursday night until the morning of the 4th of July.
As reported by The New York Times, an internal police memo with the title “Taylor Swift Wedding at Madison Square Garden July 3,” officially outlined the event from 4 p.m. until 2 a.m.
The planning, organization, and coordination were no small feats, as New York was also celebrating the 250th 4th of July festivities on top of the World Cup.
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani also confirmed that Taylor paid the $160,000 fee to have the police department handle security during the wedding and the rehearsal dinner the night before at the Infosys Theater. It included closing certain streets and doing crowd control to keep security everywhere tight.
Seed and T&T’s wedding team also coordinated with the local police department to keep all details of the grand event under wraps. Days and hours before the event, trucks were visible around the venue, unloading, among other things, set design props, staircase sets, a mirror ball, and a red carpet. Many press people and New Yorkers started spotting SUVs with celebrities in the area.
Other telltale signs, such as Travis’ Kansas City Chiefs American football team members booking hotels near the venue and celebrity friends of the couple spotted on Thursday for the rehearsal dinner, upped the excitement of fans around the vicinity, hoping to get a glimpse of the celebrity attendees or T&T themselves for this historical wedding celebration.
The night before their big day, America’s power couple also donated $26 million to various local charities.
T&T Wedding Celebration Details
Despite Swifties already knowing some details of the wedding of the century, security was tight and well coordinated. Regular guests arrived at a white tent section in the south part of the venue. VIP guests arrived in the more private underground parking area.
Security was also tight inside the T&T MSG celebrations, with attendees prohibited from accessing their phones during the main wedding ceremony.
The July 2 intimate rehearsal dinner had 100 guests at the Infosys Center, with catering provided by top NYC Italian-American restaurant Sartiano’s. The couple gifted attendees with an exclusive souvenir, a diamond-decorated champagne flute with the T&T logo etched on its black velvet box.
At the wedding, guests received a custom, embroidered white napkin with the “T&T” logo and lyrics from her hit song “Blank Space”, “So it’s gonna be forever…”
According to the MSG June 3 wedding schedule in the New York Police memo, doors opened at 3:30 PM, followed by the start of the cocktail hour at 4. The ceremony started at 5:30, and the reception was from 6:30 PM until the designated end time of 2 AM.
At 7:22 pm, the MSG jumbotron screens announced that the couple just got married, with huge “JUST&T MARRIED”
Top New York catering company Zero Bond provided the gorgeous food, which included pasta, sushi, steak, burgers, seafood, and a huge dessert table with cakes, Pop-Tarts, cookies, pastries, and varieties of sweets.
The Superstar Celebration at Taylor and Travis’ Wedding
One thousand guests attended what many in the press called “the wedding of the century“. Among those in attendance were Adam Sandler, who officiated the wedding, Taylor’s brother Austin, who was her man of honor, and Travis’ brother Jason as his best man, along with their families.
Jonathan Anderson, the creative director of Christian Dior, designed Taylor’s wedding dress and Travis’ tuxedo. No photos of the wedding event are available to the public yet, but it has become a hot topic at a recent Dior Couture show after the wedding.
