Travis Kelce delivered his killer play and A-game in one when he proposed to her sweetheart on August 26, 2025. Taylor Swift’s engagement ring is a sizeable 8-carat cushion-cut diamond with antique glam and modern elegance.
The proposal needed a little bit of distraction and careful planning. Kelce and his brother Jason had Taylor as a guest on their podcast show at Travis’ home. Unbeknownst to Taylor, he had his backyard garden transformed into a heavenly altar of flowers and greenery. There, he got down on one knee and proposed with the iconic ring.

Taylor’s engagement ring features an 8-carat cushion-cut diamond. It is of high quality, with an F color and VS1 clarity, on top of an 18k yellow gold band. The centerpiece diamond solitaire is antique cut, meaning fewer facets and a simpler, more classic look. Custom engravings and smaller diamond stones flank both sides of the diamond and needle-point prongs.

Taylor Swift’s engagement ring is a jaw-dropping custom masterpiece fit for the Pop Queen.
Kelce contacted jewelry designer Kindred Lubeck from the Artifex Fine Jewelry company to commission this ring. Kelce liked her specialization in creating beautiful engraved rings and contacted her. But the actual source of the referral was none other than Taylor herself, who was showing Travis some engagement ring designs online over 18 months ago.
When Taylor saw the ring, she was astounded and knew it was Kindred who created it. The vintage but modern glamor and custom engravings were the dead giveaways.
Speaking with Heart Breakfast podcast in the UK, she explained, “I had shown him a video, I just thought her stuff was so cool, I had shown him a video like a year and a half ago, and he was just paying attention to everything, it turns out because when I saw the ring I… I was like, ‘I know who made this, I know who made this,’ and also, you listen to me!”
Speaking with the Brazilian press during a Kansas City Chiefs press conference on Sept. 7 last year, Kelce spoke of his life being engaged to Taylor, “I got one more ring from it. Well, two if we’re counting the first Super Bowl.”
