A Proposal in the City of Love
Cole proposed to Vanessa in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris in November 2022. Talk about ultra romantic! Vanessa Hudgens’ engagement ring features a 7-carat oval-cut diamond ring set on a lovely platinum band.
The Colorado Rockies player got the elusive yes from the actress.
Vanessa and Cole made the announcement much later on social media on February 9, 2023. It was a smart move that protected them from the prying of the persistent press and paparazzi.
Vanessa captioned the photo with her resounding yes, “Yes. We couldn’t be happier.” The couple celebrated the engagement with a party on Valentine’s Day.
Cole’s choice of going for a hefty diamond set secured with 4 prongs on a yellow gold band is classic. The sizable 7 carats with a backdrop of gold creates warm, vivid tones. it also looks gorgeous and well-balanced on her finger: large enough to grab attention, but doesn’t overpower with extraneous size.

Cole and Vanessa’s Modern Love Story
Sometimes you meet the loveliest people in the most random, indescript places or situations. So how did our sweethearts meet? Vanessa recalls meeting Cole in an online Zen meditation group in 2020.
It was the height of the pandemic, and people did their stuff through the app due to no-contact communications. But they found love in its weird peculiarity. It felt so right for both.
Speaking with People, she described the natural and organic way they connected, explaining that “He’s just kind of perfect for me.”
“I am happy. I really am. I think that it’s also so important to stay grateful for everything that you have in life. I’ve been making that a priority, and I feel like it’s just been making magic happen all the more.”
Soon, the press spotted the two being cozy and sweet in November of that year. However, it wasn’t until Valentine’s Day of 2021 that they went official on their Instagram with some adorable PDA action.
After almost 3 years of dating, the sweethearts announced their engagement on Feb. 9, 2023, although they actually did so in late 2022.
Before their lovely relationship, Vanessa dated Austin Butler for 9 nine years. The two tried to make it work despite the challenging situations in both of their work.
Alas, good things don’t last, and they broke off in early 2020. They remain friends with no hard feelings.
Before this, she was also in a previous relationship with Zac Efron.

The lovely couple married on December 2, 2023, amidst the enthralling views of the Azulik City of Arts in Tulum, Mexico.
Vanessa was immaculate in her spaghetti-strapped, low-boatneck wedding dress with illusion lace fringed short sleeves. She had on a bodycon style dress with a trumpet silhouette. A Watteau veil train completed this lovely bridal outfit.
Cole wore an all-white suit with a white bowtie.
Vanessa recalled how gorgeous this wedding venue was, gushing, “I knew that it was our place. I felt like I was transported to some kind of utopia, unlike anything I had ever been to before. It was whimsical and magical, and I just fell in love.”
