Top-tier event, wedding planner, and designer Amanda Dubin is now engaged to ABC News correspondent Will Reeve!
Will made his romantic proposal with Amanda Rubin’s engagement ring, a gorgeous and sizable rare antique, on Sunday, November 10, 2024.
Then, on January 26, 2026, the pair got hitched at a beautiful ceremony in New York.

Will Reeve got on one knee to propose to his lovely beau, Amanda, on November 10, 2024. Her engagement ring is an antique, cushion-cut diamond ring set on a gold band with platinum prongs underneath the diamond.
The magical proposal was a carefully planned setting organized by Will, with a little help from Amanda’s biological mom, and adoptive parents, Ralph and Ann Pucci, at Ralph’s Design Gallery.
He decorated her family’s art and furniture showroom with lovely pink orchids, calla lilies, and hydrangeas, plus candles. He also hired professional photographer Allen Zepeda to document the event with beautiful images, and made everything more romantic with a harpist.
To set up Amanda and get her glammed up, Will told her they were going to attend a friend’s wedding, but had to stop real quick first at a charity event. The plan worked and was seamless.
“I think it was the first time in my adult life that I was genuinely surprised, given that I plan everything for a living!” Amanda told Vogue.
There, with the scenic view of the Empire State Building, Will knelt on one knee and proposed to her with the beautiful antique ring.
After their proposal that brought them on an ecstatic high, Will had another surprise, asking her to go upstairs for more beautiful photos. Family and friends were waiting for them for some drinks before they all went to dinner.
Amanda and Will Get Married
The adorable couple tied the knot on January 17, 2026, in the Rubell Museum in Miami, Florida.
Amanda was enthralling in a Violette gown designed by Danielle Frankelle. Will was gorgeous in his Michael Andrews-exclusive black tuxedo and bow tie.
Will detailed his accessories to Vogue, saying, “My accessories for my wedding night were particularly meaningful: I wore gold cufflinks that belonged to my late father, inscribed with his initials, ‘CR,’ a brooch that was my late mother’s, and an IWC Portugieser Chronograph watch that Amanda gave to me as a wedding gift to kick off the weekend”.
The groom also wore a Todd Snyder pocket square. Amanda had it embroidered with Will’s mom’s handwriting.
“Amanda found a letter my mom had written years ago, highlighted the words ‘I love you,’ and had that sewn into the fabric and gave it to me as a gift before the wedding. We are also particularly honored to be wearing my parents’ wedding bands that my family had kept safe for decades for such an occasion.”
The couple collaborated with Cerka Creative to create a special chuppah, a canopy in Jewish wedding ceremonies. Will’s brother-in-law, Garren Givens, and Rabbi Hanniel Levenson officiated the wedding.
They exchanged handwritten vows and broke a glass in accordance with Jewish wedding traditions. They kissed for the first time as newlyweds.
He left two empty chairs for his late parents, Christopher and Dana Reeve, who didn’t get to see their engagement and wedding.
He told Vogue, “I spent a deliberate moment staring at the two chairs right in front, each adorned with a flower, left empty to honor my late parents, and thought about all the moments in my life they’d missed out on, but also how present they felt in the room and in the ceremony.”

Amanda Dubin works for New York’s Victoria Dubin Events as an events and wedding planner, along with her mom. They organize many high-end and high-profile weddings and events. They’ve made their mark in the industry for their expert planning and creating remarkable experiences that make these events super memorable.
In 2018, Amanda graduated from Cornell University with a major in fashion design management. She was also a research assistant at the Cornell Costume & Textile Collection. Amanda also worked for The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. in their Presidential Associates Program for almost three years.
Will Reeve is the youngest son of the late actor Christopher Reeve, of Superman fame, and actress and singer Dana Reeve. He was an intern at Good Morning America, an ESPN SportsCenter reporter, and currently a correspondent for ABC News since 2018.
He is also a board member of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. It’s dedicated to research and study of spinal cord injuries and improving the lives of people with these injuries.
Will started his career in acting in 1997. He starred in the TV movie In the Gloaming, starring Glen Close and directed by his dad. He also had a small role in his father’s next directed movie, The Brooke Ellison Story.
Will contributes to various shows on the ABC network, such as “World News Tonight with David Muir,” “Nightline,” ABC News Live, and ABC News Radio.
Keeping things private, the power couple didn’t disclose much to the press. But beneath it all, their intense love developed over time.
How Will and Amanda’s Love Story Developed
In the late summer of 2022, Will and Amanda got matched online. However, many work schedules and time complications prevented their initial meeting. Amanda explained to Vogue, “One of us got COVID, another had to travel, and so on.”
They did schedule a date, but his work assignment required him to do news coverage in the UK. Queen Elizabeth II passed away in September 8, 2022. Amanda texted her condolences, thinking he was the Queen’s relative.
Will forgot about the message and replied a week late. He apologized and set up another date. The two finally met for the first time in a cafe called Banter, in Greenwich Village in New York. They fell head over heels instantly.
The couple had two wonderful years together before Will proposed to Amanda in November 8, 2024. She told Vogue, “By that point, we had already lived together for a year, and an engagement was more of a question of when, not if.”
After almost two years being engaged, the adorable couple finally tied the knot on January 26, 2026.
