Bella Thorne and Mark Emms: Love in Ibiza
You might imagine that Bella, an actress and director, and producer Mark might meet on the set of a movie. Instead, these two were at the beach in Ibiza when they met and fell in love. They were both attending Cara Delevingne’s beach birthday party last year. So how did Bella’s story lead her to Mark and ultimately to an enormous engagement ring?
Bella’s Young Career
Believe it or not, Bella’s acting career began when she was six weeks old with her first published picture in “Parents Magazine.” She has three siblings, all of whom have acted as well. She moved to California to pursue her professional acting dream and has been extremely successful.

Thorne’s fame grew through the awards and nominations she received for her role in the Disney Channel series “Shake It Up.” She continued to be cast in films including “Blended” (2014) and “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip.” (2015) Thorne dabbled in music as well and has even released a single.

Fast forward to 2019, where Bella had appeared in more than 60 commercials and magazines. Her career took off in film and TV, and she even received nominations for the Teen Choice Awards. In April of 2019, Bella began dating Italian singer Benjamin Mascolo.

On September 9, the couple had been dating for about a month when a source who knows the couple told People magazine that they indeed had a budding romance and were having fun together. More information about the British entrepreneur Mark began to emerge. He says he his beginnings were in the entertainment industry and is the founder of Easter Road Films LLC, a production company.

Videos circulated on Instagram of the couple with some of Bella’s best friends celebrating her 25th birthday in the Dominican Republic. No official statements were made, but the insinuation was clear that romance continued to grow between them.
February 2023
On Valentine’s Day 2023, the couple finally went officially public. Instagram, which is a huge source of income for Thorne, was how the couple chose to announce their official status as a couple. “Find someone you want to share your candy with,” Bella said, to a post of them sharing Valentine’s Day candy Lady-and-the-Tramp style.
May 2023
On May 13, one day before Mother’s Day, Mark romantically proposed down on one knee at Bella’s house in California. They celebrated with their families afterward. Thorne was happy to show off her new engagement ring on Instagram on May 26.
Wedding Plans: Already in the Works
Bella wasted no time starting to think about wedding details. It’s clear that she’s enjoying the planning process. She hopes to be married in the English countryside, where Emms is from, on the beautiful grounds of an English manor. So, who will design the dress?
