Jessica Kendrick’s Engagement Ring and Lovely Proposal!

Jessica Kendrick’s engagement ring is a creation by the top jewelry design company, Daniel of Fifth Avenue. It features a 3.02-carat oval-cut diamond, with F color and VVS clarity. The diamond is in a north-to-south setting on a nice rose gold pavé layered band.
She said yes right away when her beau proposed to her on a hotel balcony.
Bad boy Jonny Fairplay had set up a balcony stage and vibe for his sweetheart with the help of Epic Events by Booth to make the proposal even more romantic. With a huge Marry❤️Me bannered across the wide balcony, palms, and a purple-hued set design, Jonny got down on one knee to offer his love, forever.
People covered the simple but very romantic life event and immortalized the moment.
Total Cost and Market Value
To get a better idea of the engagement ring’s price and value, we spoke to Benjamin Khordipour, a GIA-certified jewelry specialist from NYC’s Estate Diamond Jewelry. According to him, the current expert-estimated value is at $60,000.
There are a few main factors for this top-tier price. One is the quality of the diamond, which is a 3-carat piece with an F color, stating a nearly flawless stone. VVS or Very Very Slightly Included is also nearly flawless in its clearness, citing a high-quality diamond. Small round diamonds on the pave band also surround the main stone, adding more to the price tag.
The designer of this piece, Daniel of Fifth Avenue, makes exceptional luxury rings. The brand name and level of craftsmanship also support the high price and value.
Jonny And Jessica: A Real TV Love Story
Jessica was a medical assistant at CAMI, or Carolina Age Management Institute, a clinic in Greensboro, North Carolina. One day, Jonny was at their branch for a treatment, and that’s where he met the gorgeous future fiancée.
“When I first met Jessica, she was the medical assistant at CAMI Greensboro and offered me free Botox. I was so afraid of needles, but as soon as I got there, she held my hand. Two years later, we never stopped holding hands.”
Jonny found the woman he could take refuge and feel safe with. After two years of dating, Jonny proposed to his fiancée with this dazzling ring of love and commitment.
The ever-so sly and cunning Jonny Fairplay, or Jon Dalton as his mom calls him, has lived a cool and active TV career so far. We know him from Survivor, the TV show, surviving it twice. He also worked in wrestling productions since 1988.
Jonny created his own wrestling promotion, New Dimension Wrestling. After appearing on Survivor, he signed on and started appearing on TNA, or Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, and a number of other independent wrestling promotions over the years.
Similar Oval Cut Engagement Pieces
We may not be able to match Jonny’s notoriety or his precious engagement ring for Jessica Kendrick, but we can come close. The following rings have the same romantic energy and loveliness just the same, and are more affordable.
Aster Ring

This simple, but gorgeous Aster ring features a 1.65 carat, oval-cut platinum ruby and is from Estate Diamond Jewelry. It can also be the ring that will change your life. The ring has a larger profile due to its thick halo of diamonds and larger side shoulder diamonds built on both sides. These smaller diamonds run up to .50 carats in weight. This is a thick, wide ring fit for a queen.
Sicily Ring

Our second ring is a Sicily halo design from Estate Diamond Jewelry. It features a 1.66-carat natural oval-cut ruby on an 18k yellow gold band. It also has a thick surrounding halo of old, European-cut diamonds, with tapered side diamond baguettes for extra muscle.
This ring fuses older, more dramatic styles in its design with a thick octagonal frame. If you want a thicker dimension old school oval cut diamond, this is the perfect piece to choose.
Tiffany Fancy Yellow Diamond Ring

You can be as flamboyant-looking as our man Jonny through this ring. It’s dazzling silver, gold, and yellow combination looks great together, a unique piece from Estate Diamond Jewelry. Add to it the precious 3.14-carat oval-cut yellow diamond, and you have a sleek, minimalist ring.
This time, the spacing and profile are more sleek compared to our more chunky options. This allows a thinner ring profile and a flush east-to-west configuration. It’s a more compact style of engagement ring that still looks great.
Buccellati Emerald Ring

We return to lovely-looking rings with a large diameter and profile. This ring from Estate Diamond Jewelry carries a hefty 11.63-carat Colombian oval emerald buccelatti stone, with crown setting prongs on a thick, oversized yellow gold band. To prove its authenticity, it comes with two gem certificates: G.R.S. and Christian Duneg. It is one of the biggest, almost oversized rings in this collection, with its crown 18k white gold halo, creating an extra commanding presence.
Orland Ring

This ring by Estate Diamond Jewelry has a 1.80-carat beautiful east-to-west oval-cut ruby in its center. It resembles a dark red eye inside its platinum frame and small, round, while smaller European cut diamonds add sparkling brilliance around it, weighing a total of .84 carats.
The front face has old European cut diamonds encircling its eye shape, creating an all-seeing eye ring that spills these diamond patterns down the shanks. It looks unconventional and gorgeous.
Verdant Ring

In the case of this Emerald and Diamond Verdant ring by Estate Diamond Jewelry, the clustered halo is even bigger than the 1-carat emerald center stone, creating a flower outer halo and diamond cluster using European-cut diamonds. This in turn creates even more dominant sparkles and a larger ring profile, totalling a hefty 2.20 carats on a platinum band. These outer diamonds are I-J color, which are near flawless, with VS2- SI1 clarity ranges, indicating high quality.
Capulet Ring

If you want a more purple and pink-hued creation, this fiery-looking Estate Diamond Jewelry ring has on front and center this adorable 4.47 carat pink sapphire en-haloed with streaked out diamonds set on a platinum ring. The surrounding diamonds amount to 2.31 carats, adding brilliant sparkles to those powerful pink hues, combining those dazzling lights and reflections. A fitting end to this mini-list inspired by Jessica Kendrick’s engagement ring.
