Nicola and Mitch were in the South of France on vacation in July 2024 when Mitch had the perfect spot to propose.
Mitch got down on one knee and presented Nicola with the captivating wedding ring, which she immediately said yes to. The beautiful, scenic area of Southern France made for the most spectacular backdrop.
The beautiful engagement ring features a 2-carat, oval-cut solitaire diamond with a north-to-south placement. It has a D to F color range and is almost colorless. English singer, songwriter, and pop star Nicola Roberts, born on October 5, 1985, captivated us all as a member of the all-girls pop group Girls Aloud. They gained nationwide and worldwide fame as part of the hit talent show, Popstars: The Rivals, in 2002.
Girls Aloud are Britain’s top-selling girl group of the 21st century, selling out 4.3 million singles and 4 million albums in the UK. They disbanded in March 2013.
Nicola started creating her own music for her first solo album in 2010. She expressed her wanting to explore more in songwriting and recording, and enlisted top new producers Dragonette, Diplo, and Joseph Mount. She released her first album, Cinderella’s Eyes, on September 23, 2011.
In between a bevy of singles, songwriting credits, collaborations, and performances in musicals through the next years, she also joined her bandmates in Girls Aloud again for their reunion.

Mitch Hahn, also known as Mitchell Hahn, is the CEO of the accountancy firm Nordens. He’s also a former professional Australian footballer from Brisbane, Queensland.
Many sports fans know Mitch as a member of the tough Western Bulldogs. He was also a backline coach at the Brisbane Lions and a coach for the reserves team in the NEAFL and the VFL until 2022.
Their Love Story
Despite keeping their relationship under wraps from the fans and the press, the public eye witnesses (paparazzi) spotted them at an Elton John concert in London in June 2022. This led to their confirmation that they were indeed officially dating and together.
After two lovely years, the couple got engaged in July 2024, in the beautiful South of France. Nicola was pregnant in December 2025 and celebrated it with Mitch in an Instagram post.
