Jana Kramer’s Engagement Ring and Allan Russell’s Adorable Proposal
Jana Kramer’s engagement ring from Allan was the culmination of their love story that began more than six months before the proposal. After 6 months of dating and maintaining a long-distance relationship (Allan was in England during that time), he knew Jana was the one.
Allan proposed to her with a stunning engagement ring featuring a 4-carat solitaire emerald-cut diamond set in prongs, with a pavé platinum band.
Allan and Jana had a pool party at their home, and towards the night, he invited her and her kids, 7-year-old daughter Jolie and son Jace, 4, to the new house they were building. He proposed to her with Jana’s kids present.
On her podcast Whine Down, Jana recalled how the adorable proposal went down: “It was a really beautiful night…we were all sitting on the porch of the steps and looking out at the view, it’s stunning. And he said my name and I got up or whatever and he got down on one knee, and then Jolie just started jumping up and down, it was the cutest thing ever, it was like she knew what was happening.”
“And he said, ‘You’re the love of my life, and will you marry me?'” she beamed.
How Much Is the Ring Worth?
We consulted Benjamin Khordipour, G.D., the jewelry specialist at Estate Diamond Jewelry, who holds advanced degrees from Gübelin and the Gemological Institute of America, for a professional assessment of this special ring. He placed the value at $145,000.
The ring’s solitaire 4-carat diamond with a rectangular emerald cut is the high-value centerpiece, along with the small diamonds around the perimeter of its pave platinum band. 4-carat diamonds with higher specifications, color, and clarity grades can fetch as much as $400,000, so the actual value can be a lot more.
Allan Russell and Jana Kramer’s Love Story
Our lovely twosome met online on a dating app sometime in November 2022. She soon realized that Allan was in England, and after exchanging DMs, he was going to be in Tampa, Florida, so they had a chance to meet along the way.
Speaking on People‘s YouTube interview, the One Tree Hill star recounted, “I was like, you know, maybe if he happens to ever be in the States, I’ll, you know, go on a date with him, and he had mentioned he was going to be in Tampa so he could stop along the way to Nashville. And so I thought, why not? And then we met at the 1 Hotel.”
By January 9, 2023, Jana revealed on her Whine Down podcast that she was dating someone from England, but didn’t disclose yet who. She did post a photo of their FaceTime date but covered him in an emoji, confirming their relationship. She later posted a sweet photo of their first Valentine’s together.
From then on, Allan and Jana travelled back and forth between England and Tennessee to see each other. The couple made their first red carpet debut on March 27 at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
Their Engagement, And An Expanded Family
In April 2023, she revealed to US Magazine that Allan met her kids and her ex-husband, Mike Caussin. “Everyone just gets along really well, and that’s a really, it’s a really beautiful thing. Like, I sat back one time and just kind of watched … I’m like, OK, things can turn around, and it can be beautiful.”
On May 25, the couple announced their engagement. Allan led her and her kids over to the house they were building, where he got on one knee and proposed to the love of his life.
In June, they also announced that they were expecting their first baby. They welcomed their first son, Roman James Russell, on November 13. 2023.
