Speaking with Glamour in 2022, Cuoco reflected on past relationships, “I will never get married again. I would love to have a long-lasting relationship or a partnership. But I will never get married again. Absolutely not. You can literally put that on the cover.”
However, things sometimes turn around for the better, and she met Tom Pelphrey in 2022. They fell in love hard, and a year later, welcomed their daughter Matilda, in
March 30, 2023.
Tom proposed to her on August 14, 2024, with a modern-designed, part 1920s Art Deco, and part classic-styled, three-stone ring. In the center is a 3 to 4-carat cushion-cut diamond ring with an 18k yellow gold band. It has a G color grade, with a VS2 clarity, signifying high quality.
The side diamonds that flank the ring’s center diamond have a unique configuration: a smaller emerald cut diamond is on the right facing the viewer, in an east-west setting. On the other side is a bigger emerald cut diamond in a north-to-south configuration. The two side diamonds are 2 carats in total.
The couple’s black and white photos with their cute daughter silently announced their engagement, which looks to be their or their family’s property. It was a simple but very symbolic and meaningful engagement.

PEOPLE asked Tom about the possibility of working together with Kaley, and he said, “We are interested in that. But it’s gonna really have to be the right thing, so it will probably take a while. Kaley and Tom’s First Meeting, and How They Fell for Each Other
Kaley Cuoco already swore off marriage and relationships after her previous ones didn’t work out. However, her manager, Andrea Pett-Joseph, knew she’d be perfect for Tom. She set up their first meeting in April 2022, and left them with that butterflies-in-the-stomach feeling.
Speaking with USA Today, Kaley recalled her manager’s recommendation to meet and the chemistry she saw from them, “She’s like, ‘Oh my God, I think you guys are perfect for each other.'”
Speaking with PEOPLE, Kaley gushed over her significant other, “I’m so grateful to have a partner who I love to do it with because just two days with a baby in the house, and I think of parents who are raising kids by themselves, and I don’t even understand how they do it.”
“Spending time with her is a nonnegotiable. It’s very important to me,” Tom added. They welcomed their daughter, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, in March 2023.
Kaley Cuoco was in previous relationships that left her jaded and unwilling to go through relationships and marriage again. She was previously with professional tennis player Ryan Sweeting. They later divorced, less than two years later.
Cuoco was also in a relationship years later with equestrian Karl Cook. They got engaged in 2017 and married a year later, but they separated in 2021 and finalized their divorce the next year.
Tom and Kaley lived a charmed and happy life with their daughter. He gushed about his family on PEOPLE, “If you would’ve told me 15 years ago that I could be with the love of my life and have the most perfect baby and get to do what I love, it’s wild. You’re living your dream. And I’m very conscious of that.”
