Katharina Mazepa’s Enchanting Engagement Ring and Proposal from Beau Lenny
With the sunset of the Balearic Sea of Es Vedrá as the ultimate backdrop, Lenny got down on one knee and romantically proposed to Katharina on July 29, 2023. She immediately said yes and jumped into his arms!
The Miss Vienna 2014 commemorated the lovely event on her Instagram with the caption, “On top of an ancient pirate cave, overlooking the sunset over breathtaking Es Vedrá, he asked to steal me away forever. 🏴☠️♾.”
Lenny proposed to Katharina with a bodacious engagement ring that features a massive 12-carat radiant cut solitaire diamond set in platinum.
While many fans of the surgeon and his hot model girlfriend gushed over the hot engagement, some reacted negatively, even sarcastically. Lisa Hochstein, Lenny’s ex-wife, who was together with him for 13 years and has two kids together, was one of them, publicly commenting on her Instagram story, “Congrats to my current husband and his mistress on their engagement.”
However, Lenny already filed for divorce a year before the engagement, though as of presstime, it’s still not finalized. The proposal also came three months after Katharina and her ex-husband Shilo finalized their divorce.

The Couple’s Love Story
Lenny and Katharina started dating in May 2022. Or at least, this was the era when they were first seen in public together. The couple hasn’t disclosed exactly when they first met, where, and how.
However, on May 11, 2022, the local public first saw them together, out on a date in a Miami nightclub. Lisa and her fellow Housewives star Larsa Pippen arrived at the same nightclub an hour later. This led to a confrontation.
Despite issues with Lenny’s ex, Lenny and Katharina stayed strong together, overcoming even public reactions, mostly from fans of Lenny and Lisa from their days together on The Real Housewives of Miami TV series.
Fans gushed over their photos together on Instagram, which showed them together attending concerts, going on skiing trips, celebrating Halloween at home, vacationing in Costa Rica, Ibiza, and Colombia, and hanging out with his kids, Logan and Elle.

Katharina Mazepa, born Katharina Nahlik on August 19, 1995, is the crowned Miss Vienna of 2014. She also holds an environmental engineering degree from the BOKU University in Vienna, Austria.
After her win as Miss Vienna, she started her modeling career. As an environmental engineer, she also leads an eco-friendly life as a vegetarian and an animal rights activist and volunteer.
Katharina married US diplomat Shilo Mazepa in 2019, and she later moved to Washington, D.C. She filed for a divorce in 2021, later finalized in 2023. The court awarded Katharina her non-marital and pre-marital property and restored her maiden name to Katharina Nahlik.
Her modeling career included work for top brands such as Harper’s Bazaar, Elle Magazine, and Guess. She appeared on The Hills: New Beginnings, created by MTV, and the music video for My Window by indie artist and musician Money One Kenobi.
Many people know Leonard, or Lenny Hochstein, as Lisa’s (now ex) husband on the hit reality TV series, The Real Housewives of Miami. He is also a well-known plastic surgeon based in Miami, Florida, practicing for close to 30 years at his clinic, Hochstein MedSpa. He specializes in body contouring, facial rejuvenation, breast enhancements, and other aesthetic procedures.
